Why Sea Shepherd

Our choice to support Sea Shepherd comes during an extreme moment of crisis where the whales are facing multiple overlapping threats at once, from mass mortality events to shipping and fishing hazards.

Pacific gray whales are facing a catastrophic mortality event, while critically endangered right whales remain at severe risk from vessel strikes and fishing gear entanglements. Sea Shepherd’s work helps keep those threats in view.

Why Kindness Matters
