ALLIES OF THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER

Water is life’s matter and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water.

  • GET EDUCATED

in 2005 the environmental organization of American Rivers named the Susquehanna the most endangered river in the United States.

Check out The Susquehanna River Story: Pennsylvania’s Chronicle and the Susquehanna River Corridor are two easy ways to learn more!

  • GET CONNECTED

Regardless of where you live within any of the Susquehanna River geographical regions, plugging into your local River Keepers associations is one of the easiest ways to get more connected as a solution to our current environmental issue.

The Middle and Lower Susquehanna River Keepers are the two River Advocacy programs that are formally recognized by state and national governments for their outstanding efforts.

  • GET INVOLVED

It all begins with you. There are multiple ways to get involved in Susquehanna River care and clean up. It can be as simple as taking a trash bag with you on your walks along Her shorelines, or simply signing an online petition that brings awareness to the major environmental issues. Theres so many avenues of advocacy beyond just trash clean up, too. The examples we set today, will be the values we instill in our children for tomorrow.

WHO ELSE IS OUT THERE?
