Their mission is to promote individual peace of mind, compassion for all beings, spiritual growth, and an ethical way of life based on Buddhist principles.
Although I am not Buddhist myself, I have personally attended a few of their meditations, and I have benefited greatly from their approach to their mission; being that through loving kindness, and the development of mindfulness, they strive to enlighten individuals as to the cause of suffering, and the path leading to the cessation of suffering. I appreciate their obvious devotion and consistency to how they show up for the world as convicted ambassadors of PEACE.

Almighty and Eternal Father, God of wisdom and mercy. Whose power exceeds all force of arms and Whose protection is the strong defense of all who trust in Thee, enlighten and direct, we beseech Thee, those who bear the heavy responsibility of government throughout the world in these days of stress and trial. Grant them the strength to stand firm for what is right and the skill to dispel the fears that foment discord; inspire them to be mindful of the horrors of atomic war for victor and vanquished alike, to Beck conciliation in truth and patience, to see every man a brother, that the people of all nations may, in our day, enjoy the blessings of a just and lasting peace.

We are happy to have the opportunity to continue our journey down the Susquehanna River, with special guest speakers from the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper. Explore more with us about how crucial it is for us to start paying more attention to our home River at this time. Riverkeeper Ted Evgeniadis, with LSRA Protector Alaina Consagra, will speak on the reason’s why it’s gotten to an environmental crisis point for the River, as well as how we can become active participants in creating the solution.
In 2005 the environmental organization of American Rivers named the Susquehanna the most endangered river in the United States. In his book, A New Earth, Eckhart Tolle points out that awareness is the greatest key to change. This is one of those times in which awareness really matters more than ever.
FREE to attend, although any donations that may be gifted for this episode will be directed to the Lower Susquehanna Riverkeeper’s non-profti to help fuel it’s life saving Mission.

Come paint rocks with us!
This event is pretty self explanatory ... we are going to be painting rocks!!
We are coupling this event with the Taurus New Moon energies, and it's been proven that stone holds energy, so it's a great time to add intentions to these rocks while you're creating them.
We will be providing all sorts of stones and rocks of various sizes, most of which have been sourced respectfully and ethically from the local grounds and waterways.
Paints and paintbrushes will also be provided. We will be using acrylics.
Feel free to bring your own rocks and paints too if you'd like.
This is a kid friendly event, with 2 seating time options.
1st group will be from 1pm - 2:30pm
2nd group, 3:30 pm - 5pm
